We love unpublished writers just as much as we love published writers (sometimes even more so). MMPP is more likely to publish work that is provocative and invigorating rather than overly complicated pieces of pomposity. Excite us with your garden-fresh flash and titillate us with your gutsy poems. Let us home your vigorous words and create art to accompany them. And after we marry your wise wordery, we’ll bring the lit to the great outdoors. Length of the work: our sweet spot is between 150 to 300 words. Anything over or under, we’ll be less psyched on. Poems? Let’s try to keep it under 25 lines, and no more than 3 poems per submission. We accept re-prints so long as you own the rights.
Welcome to Superfan! Our teeny tiny wrestling zine dedicated to the art of professional wrestling and poetry (and other stuff, too). Superfan is released twice a year with two very brief reading periods. Our zine is themed (just like Meow Meow Pow Pow); it's our small love letter to the intersection of wrestling and verse.
Length of the work: our sweet spot is between 150 to 250 words. Poems? Let’s try to keep it under 15 lines, bbz. No more than two poems per submission. theme: superfans!
Green shirt guy. Original ref. Vlad. Trinidad flag guy. Countless more. Our theme is dedicated to the fans of Pro Wrestling (and indie wrestling and backyard wrestling). Without the fans, and superfans, none of this would exist. And in some instances, the superfans are just as legendary as the athletes. Whether your piece is about you as a superfan, or one of the notable regulars, we want to read your odes.
